Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions about membership at JAGS Sports Club. If you have any other questions or want something answering in finer detail, please do not hesitate to get in touch on 020 8613 6500 or via email: email@example.com
1. How long is the contract?
The contract is a minimum of six months, after which your membership will just roll on until you want to stop. If you do decide to cancel your membership, please drop us a letter or an email to say you would like to terminate your subscription.
2. What is the notice period to terminate my membership?
The notice period required is two months in writing by either letter or email.
3. Can I upgrade/downgrade my subscription?
You can upgrade/downgrade your subscription at any time, although any changes will take at least 2 weeks to process. This can be done by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. Can my wife/husband replace my membership?
(S)he can. Just drop us an email and we can change the name over, providing the bank details are the same. After the change has taken place, you will no longer be able to use the Club as a member and must pay a guest fee to enter.
5. Can I freeze my account?
You can freeze your account for a fee of £10 per month, we need at least 2 weeks notice to process this. The account can be frozen for a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 12 months.
6. Can I bring a guest?
Guests can come as long as they are accommpanied by a member at all times. Guests are not allowed access to the gym or Free-Weights Studio, as an induction is required before using the equipment.
7. How much is a guest fee?
The fee is £8.50 for adults (18 years and over) and £2 for children. But remember that this is a ‘day’ pass so as a guest they can do more than one activity i.e. play tennis and then swim or attend a class.
8. Can my child bring a guest?
Your child can bring a guest as long as they are also a child; children cannot bring adult guests.
9. How can I change my bank account details?
You can either send a letter or an email to email@example.com.
10. If I have a single membership and my husband wants to go fo a swim, can he use my card if I stay at home?
No, unfortunately the membership is non-transferable. Only the person who holds a membership here is allowed to use the facilities (unless they come as your guest).
