What is Bouldering?

Bouldering is a type of climbing where you actually don’t need to leave more than twelve feet off the ground. But don’t let the height fool you – bouldering is not for the faint hearted, it requires total body control, upper body strength, body endurance, creativity and quick thinking.

As its name implies, bouldering requires the climber to work their way through a boulder route, termed a ‘problem’… and it’s not as easy as it looks!These moves require intense training and practice before they are successfully mastered.

Bouldering is perfect for anyone who seeks adventure and adrenaline.
