Following recent requests, we are offering a Children’s Yoga session on Sunday 26th February, for ages 7+.
This class will take place 11.30am – 12.30pm and is a child-only session (no parents).
In this session children will learn traditional Yoga postures in a creative way, plus breathing exercises and simple mindfulness techniques that can be used outside of the studio to self-regulate and relax.
Since Yoga can be used as a way to energise ourselves as well as to be calm, we place an emphasis on teaching children how to listen to their bodies and recognise how they are feeling. For this reason Yoga for children is a fantastic way to support developing minds and to promote positive body awareness as well as flexibility and fitness.
