Studio timetable changes

A couple of changes to report to the studio timetable from this week which are the Ballet Fit class has unfortunately been cancelled.

A new class Beginners Kundalini Yoga will be starting on Saturday 8th March @ 8.45am – 10am in The Heather Rankine Studio.

Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter his or her age or physical ability. It is a complete science that includes breath (pranayam), yoga postures (asanas), sound, chanting (mantra) and short meditations.

It also:

  • gives us a vital and healthy body
  • strengthens the nervous system to handle stress
  • balances the glandular system (the guardians of health, hormone/mood balance)
  • builds muscles, improves flexibility, sharpens the mind and memory
  • gives greater access to your creativity and intuition
  • works on the subtle energetic bodies (chakras, prana, meridians, kundalini)
  • helps make you radiant, peaceful and strong so that you can meet life’s challenges with grace and poise!

Everyone works at their own range and speed of movement, so all welcome.
